Information
AI Use
AI is a drafting tool, like a pencil. The work is still done by people.
The principle
We use AI the way a workshop uses a jigsaw: for rough cuts that a human then refines. Nothing leaves this shop, in copy or image, that has not been read and approved by a person. If we ever publish something made primarily by a machine, we will say so on the page.
Where we use it
Drafting. Product descriptions and journal posts are sometimes drafted with AI assistance. A human editor rewrites, fact-checks, and approves every line before it goes live. The AI never publishes anything.
Design exploration. Early visual mockups and layout sketches may be generated with AI tools to test ideas quickly. Final product photography is real, taken of real garments and objects.
Internal organisation. Sorting support email, summarising long supplier correspondence, keeping the stock spreadsheet tidy. Behind the scenes, not customer-facing.
Where we do not
AI does not answer your email. A person reads it and writes back. AI does not decide what gets made, what gets stocked, or what goes in a collection. AI does not process payments, handle personal data, or make any decision that affects your order.
Your data
We do not send your name, address, email, or order details to any AI tool. Customer correspondence is never used as input for AI training. If we ever need to change that, we will say so here first.
