1. Agreement to These Terms
Welcome to Marked Copy. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our store and your purchase of products from Marked Copy.
By placing an order, completing a purchase, or otherwise using our store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not place an order.
2. About Marked Copy
Marked Copy sells made-to-order clothing, accessories, and other products centered on the work, process, and culture of writing.
Our products are produced on demand through third-party production and fulfillment partners. This means that in most cases an item is manufactured specifically after an order is placed rather than being pulled from pre-existing inventory.

3. Products and Made-to-Order Production
Many Marked Copy products are made to order. Production generally begins after your order has been submitted for fulfillment.
Because products are produced individually, slight variations may occur between the product images displayed on our website and the finished item. Colors may also appear differently depending on your screen, device, lighting, garment material, and production process.
These normal variations are not considered defects.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, sizing information, pricing, and availability. However, we do not guarantee that every description, image, or other piece of product information will be completely free from errors.
4. Sizing
Please review the size information provided on the product page before ordering.
Because many of our products are made specifically for each order, selecting the correct size is the customer’s responsibility. Measurements can vary slightly because of normal manufacturing tolerances.
If you receive an item that is materially different from what you ordered, please contact support@markedcopy.com.
5. Orders
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate order information, including your name, email address, shipping address, product selections, sizes, and quantities.
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment
- Product or production availability problems
- Shipping restrictions
- Technical or processing errors
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method.
6. Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as quickly as possible at support@markedcopy.com.
Because our products are made on demand, orders may enter production shortly after being placed.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once production has begun.
If we are able to stop the order before production begins, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
7. Pricing and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and other charges will be displayed during checkout when applicable.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be processed.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we may contact you before fulfillment or cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Orders require production time before shipment.
Delivery dates and shipping estimates are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to production schedules, carrier delays, weather, customs, holidays, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Please carefully check your shipping address before completing your order.
If you discover an error in your shipping information, contact support@markedcopy.com immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or shipping.
9. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements
Because Marked Copy products are generally made to order, we normally cannot accept returns or exchanges solely because you:
- Changed your mind
- Ordered the wrong size
- Selected the wrong color
- No longer want the product
However, if your product arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us promptly at support@markedcopy.com.
When reporting a problem, we may ask you to provide your order information and clear photographs showing the issue so that we can evaluate the claim and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Depending on the circumstances, an eligible issue may be resolved through a replacement, reprint, or refund.
Please do not mail a product to Marked Copy, the manufacturer, or a fulfillment provider unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot legally be waived.
10. Promotions and Discounts
From time to time, Marked Copy may offer sales, promotional pricing, discount codes, or other special offers.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions:
- Cannot be combined with other offers
- Have no cash value
- May be limited to particular products or time periods
- May be changed or discontinued where permitted by law
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse a promotion in cases of error, abuse, fraud, or misuse.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Marked Copy name, branding, website design, written copy, original artwork, graphics, product designs, photographs, and other original content associated with Marked Copy are owned by or licensed to Marked Copy.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any underlying intellectual property or grant permission to reproduce, distribute, sell, copy, or commercially exploit our designs or content.
12. Prohibited Use
You may not use our store or services:
- For unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- To interfere with the operation or security of the website
- To attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- To place fraudulent orders or use unauthorized payment information
- To copy or exploit Marked Copy content in violation of applicable intellectual property laws
We may refuse service or cancel orders where we reasonably believe fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity has occurred.
13. Third-Party Services
Marked Copy relies on third-party providers for services that may include payment processing, production, fulfillment, hosting, and shipping.
Those providers may process information necessary to complete your order and may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused entirely by third-party providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Marked Copy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of our store or products.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Your statutory or other non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.
15. Privacy
Information submitted through Marked Copy may be used to process orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, operate the store, and perform other functions described in our Privacy Policy.
Payment information may be processed directly by our payment providers rather than stored by Marked Copy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The version in effect at the time you place an order will generally govern that transaction, subject to applicable law.
The current version will be posted on our website with its most recent update date.
